Established with an initial $1,000 challenge grant from an anonymous donor, the donor advised fund was created to provide members of the John Handley and James Wood High School Interact Clubs with hands-on training in philanthropic giving. Interact Club members will research local nonprofit organizations, do site visits to determine pressing needs, write proposals and present their findings to the Winchester Rotary Club for final grant recommendations.
