Knights of Columbus Fund - Designated
The fund is established to benefit the charitable community projects of the Winchester Knights of Columbus. The major projects include the year-round operation of the Father Krempa Soup Kitchen that weekly provides food to approximately 200 individuals, the Winchester New Eve Maternity Home, scholarships to graduating high school seniors, the construction of home ramps for individuals who are wheelchair-bound or have mobility issues, and providing donations to those with intellectual disabilities. At Christmas time, we manage the parish Outreach Tree where we collect and deliver dozens of gifts to local organizations for individuals that otherwise would not have a gift at Christmas.
